Marketing: The Listing Launch Playbook
A listing launch is not one moment. It is the first operating week of a seller relationship, and it needs a clear rhythm. When preparation, communication, and feedback are handled in sequence, you can respond to the market with evidence instead of urgency. ## Begin with the buyer and the proof Before publishing anything, name the buyer most likely to value the property. Then choose the two or three proof points that make the position credible: location, layout, condition, potential, timing, or a market comparison. This is the foundation for every conversation that follows. ## Make the first week visible Set a practical cadence for the first seven days. Confirm the assets and access plan on day one, share the opportunity with priority contacts early, and collect questions from every showing or conversation. At the end of the week, distinguish surface activity from meaningful buyer signals. ## Use feedback to decide, not react Ask three questions with the seller: What did people respond to? Where did interest fade? What evidence supports the next action? A price adjustment, a different story, or additional outreach should each have a reason attached. ## The practical takeaway A launch plan gives you more than a checklist. It gives the seller confidence that you are listening to the market and leading the next decision. Download the companion playbook to run your next launch with a simple operating rhythm.
